Delhi Police Issues Traffic Advisory for India-Bangladesh T20I at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Check Routes
Ahead of the second T20I between India and Bangladesh today at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory.
IND vs BAN: Ahead of the second T20I between India and Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday (October 9), the Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow, particularly around the stadium. The match is set to start at 7 PM IST, with the toss scheduled for 6:30 PM. In light of the ongoing Navratri festivities, special traffic arrangements and restrictions will be in place to prevent congestion in the national capital.
Commuters are advised to avoid certain routes from 5 PM to 11:30 PM. These include Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from Delhi Gate to ITO Chowk and JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate. A shuttle service will be available for fans using the Metro, with pick-up points at ITO Metro Station and Pragati Maidan Metro Station leading to the stadium. The shuttle service will also facilitate access for spectators entering through various gates.

- Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (Delhi Gate to ITO Chowk)
- JLN Marg (Rajghat to Delhi Gate)
Shuttle Facility available from ITO Metro Station and Pragati Maidan Metro Station.
Parking at:
- Mata Sundari Parking for Gates 1-8 and 16-18.
- Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road for Gates 9-15.
Ride-Hailing Pick-Up & Drop Points:
- Gate No. 2, Maulana Azad Medical College on BSZ Marg
- Rajghat Chowk
Team India will look to seal the series as they lock horns with Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. Suryakumar's side has already taken a 1-0 lead in the series after clinching a seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I match in Gwalior.
India and Bangladesh have faced each other on 15 occasions in the shortest format of the game so far. The Men in Blue have dominated the visitors as they have managed to emerge victorious 14 times.
