Delhi Weather Update: Light Showers in NCR, More Rain Predicted

New Delhi: Delhi woke up to a cool, drizzly morning on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.1 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The city is set to experience cloudy skies throughout the day, with "moderate" rainfall expected.
As per IMD’s forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius, providing a relatively cooler day for residents. Humidity levels stood at a high 85% by 8:30 AM, adding to the monsoon-like feel in the capital.
IMD Predicts Light Rains in NCR Region
The rainfall isn’t limited to just Delhi, as light showers and drizzles are expected to continue in surrounding areas, including NCR regions like Ghaziabad, Dadri, and Greater Noida. Nearby cities in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan , and Haryana , such as Etah, Bharatpur, and Panipat, are also predicted to see intermittent rainfall over the next few hours, IMD regional department said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
For residents of Delhi-NCR, the pleasant weather brings much-needed relief from the heat, making it a perfect day for indoor activities while enjoying the soothing sounds of rain.
