Mumbai: Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, and his lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, met Mumbai Police Joint CP Crime Branch Lakhmi Gautam on Thursday, demanding a narco test for all those involved in the case, recreation of the crime scene, and police protection for Disha's father.
Satish Salian has expressed his willingness to undergo a narco test himself. This development comes a day after the Maharashtra government announced that it had taken cognizance of the case.
Satish Salian alleged that his daughter's death case is based on a postmortem report that he claims is false. He requested officials to recreate the crime scene in front of the media.
He further stated that, according to the postmortem report, there was a crack in the skull and broken ribs of her daughter's body, but paradoxically, there were no injury marks on the body.
Satish Salian criticised the SIT handling the case, accusing them of playing 'table-tennis,' which prompted him to approach the Bombay High Court.
Nilesh Ojha demanded police protection for key witnesses, the victim's father, the petitioner, and their families, as well as the recreation of the crime scene.
Ojha also alleged that Aaditya Thackeray, Suraj Pancholi, Dino Morea, and Aaditya's bodyguard were directly involved in gang rape and murder. He further accused former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, ex-cop Sachin Vaze, and former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray of orchestrating a cover-up in Disha Salian's death case.
Ojha made another shocking claim, stating that at least 10 people linked to the case had died under suspicious circumstances, which were labeled as suicides or accidents.
Earlier today, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam also weighed in Disha's case, stating that those responsible for her murder would be punished. He alleged that actor Dino Morea and Aaditya Thackeray were present at the party where the incident occurred.
Nirupam added that an FIR should be registered against Aaditya Thackeray, claiming there is evidence against him. He accused the police of attempting a cover-up and stated that they have the names of personnel involved in the alleged cover-up. While the SIT probe is still ongoing, Nirupam emphasised that Disha's case is different from the CBI's closure report on Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
