‘Modi...Is Nicest…Toughest Leader’: Donald Trump’s BIG Praise For Prime Minister | Watch

Washington: Donald Trump in a big praise for PM Modi has said that the Indian Prime Minister is one of the nicest and toughest person when asked how does he assess world leaders. During a podcast, the Republican Presidential candidate said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the nicest, a father-like figure from outside but very tough from inside.

Donald Trump , during a podcast, when asked how does he assess a leader, the Republican presidential candidate said, “Modi… India… he's a friend of mine… is a nice person… father-like but very tough from inside.”

"Modi, India. He's a friend of mine and the nicest human being. Before him being appointed as the Prime Minister, India was very unstable. On the outside, he looks like he is your father. He is the nicest human being," Donald Trump said.

“I did Houston Texas – Howdy Modi. They filled up the stadium… it was beautiful like 80,000 people were going crazy… but we have a very good relationship. He’s a nicest man."

Donald Trump also spoke about how PM Modi told him that India can deal with Pakistan when he offered him support.

"We had a couple of occasions where somebody was threatening India and I said let me help… I’m very good with those people… let me help but PM Modi said that he will do, he will do it… do everything necessary." 

"We have defeated them for hundreds of years,” Trump quoted PM Modi. 

“They are smart and some are very good people… all top of their game…,” the former President said.

Trump emphasized on his good relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi .

'Howdy Modi' was an Indian diaspora event in Houston, Texas in 2019, ahead of US Presidential elections. The event at NRG Stadium saw a huge crowd and showcased the relationship between the two countries. PM Modi and Trump addressed the gathering together.
