Dusshera is an Indian festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. The victory of Rama over Ravan. The festival triggers a positive, celebratory vibe in Indian households. One way that this expresses itself is through a myriad range of colourful Rangolis. Rangoli is an art form that proudly represents the diverse culture of the country through exquisite colour schemes. Originating in the Indian subcontinent, Rangoli was previously made out of materials such as coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand or flower petals. We can now find a variety of colours, from classy greys to glittery golds in the market. Organic and inorganic, there is so much to choose for your canvas!
