Gandhinagar: A massive crane collapsed at a building construction site in the Kudasan area of Gandhinagar on Wednesday, leaving around 12 to 15 workers feared trapped under the debris.
Soon after receiving information about the accident, teams from the Infocity Police and the Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
More than four fire tenders have been deployed at the site, with rescue teams working to extricate the workers feared trapped under the debris. Ambulances have also been deployed at the spot to provide immediate medical assistance to those injured in the incident.
Deputy Chief Minister (DYCM) is also at the spot, as rescue efforts continue at the construction site.
