New Delhi: Recalling the key initiatives that transformed Hyderabad into a major IT hub, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that these steps have contributed to the Telugu community achieving the highest per capita income among Indians globally.
Speaking at the Republic Plenary Summit, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu said, “We laid a strong foundation in Hyderabad. One of the best ecosystems. 25 years ago I started constructing one high-tech building. That was the beginning. Then I started a number of engineering colleges. I am proud to say today, when I started colleges and recruitment, they have migrated all over the world.”

"Today, in any country you go, the highest per capita income among Indians is from the Telugu community, which comprises nearly 33%; that is from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,” he added.
Chandrababu Naidu also highlighted the steps he took in his tenure in the biotechnology sector in the early 2000s.

“I started the biotechnology park around 2000. Recently, a good vaccine has come from the Hyderabad Biotechnology Park, Bharat Biotech. Now we are able to give hundred countries vaccines. At that time, everybody told me what biotech was. I created Genome Valley and also Biotech Park. That is how future advanced technologies we started, which are now giving rich dividends to the nation,” he said.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, in a bold statement at the Republic Plenary Summit 2025 - The Limitless India, expressed unwavering optimism about India's future. Speaking to Republic TV's Executive Editor Niranjan Narayanswamy at the biggest news event, Naidu declared that the nation is destined to become a global leader by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's leadership.
CM Naidu went on to acknowledge that while some may remain doubtful, those voices are merely pessimistic. “All the ways I am optimistic, and I am confident about what I am saying today. You write it down,” he added, highlighting his strong conviction in the India's potential.
Chief Minister Naidu expressed unwavering optimism about India's future, He highlighted his firm belief in India's growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “This is where I am visualizing, the future is for India, the future is for Indians. I have no doubt about it.”
