At the Adampur Airbase in Punjab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful message to the world, particularly to India's neighbor, Pakistan, while praising the Indian Armed Forces for their successful Operation Sindoor.
This operation, which targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, was a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack and marked a major achievement for the Indian military.
PM Modi spoke about how the Indian Air Force effectively used advanced technology alongside strong tactics. He said, “The Air Force combined state-of-the-art technology with smart strategies, showing its strength and capability.”
He also expressed his admiration for the forces, saying, “I have come here to honor the brave warriors. Whenever we talk about India’s strength, your names will always come up. You are an inspiration to the youth of our nation.”
The Prime Minister highlighted the support of the entire nation for the armed forces, saying, “Every Indian stood with you, prayed for you, and is thankful. Operation Sindoor is not just a regular mission. It reflects India’s policy, power, and determination."
PM Modi further praised the success of the operation, stating, “You attacked the enemy head-on. Nine terror hubs were destroyed, and over 100 terrorists were killed. Now, they know that any attack on India will lead to their own destruction. We will enter their territory, strike, and not give them a chance for revenge.”
He also talked about how the success of the mission has boosted India's strength globally, saying, “They are now scared of our drones and missiles. Operation Sindoor has strengthened India and raised its respect in the world.”
The Prime Minister commended the precision of the Indian Air Force's strikes, pointing out that it only took 20-25 minutes to carry out targeted attacks deep inside Pakistan. He praised the forces for hitting terror camps while ensuring no civilian aircraft were harmed, even though Pakistan tried to use civilian planes as shields. “Pakistan’s evil plans were defeated,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi also addressed Pakistan’s failed attempts to attack Indian airbases, including Adampur, which was targeted by a missile on May 9. India’s air defense system intercepted the missile mid-air, preventing any damage. In retaliation, India launched missile strikes on multiple Pakistani airbases, including those in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, causing heavy damage. Pakistan falsely claimed it had caused damage to Adampur, but the Prime Minister's visit proved that claim wrong, sending a clear message that India will not be intimidated.
Earlier, after Operation Sindoor's success, PM Modi had saluted the forces for their bravery and quick action. His visit to the Adampur Airbase not only celebrated the operation’s success but also reinforced India’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and standing firm against terrorism.
