IIT Patna Student Died by Suicide After Jumping from Building Roof, Probe On

Patna: A student at IIT Patna allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the roof of a building inside the campus located in Bihta's Amhara.

Police Confirms Incident, Probe On 

The incident was reported to the police, and a team immediately reached the scene. Authorities identified the student as a native of Telangana.

Danapur Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) II, Pankaj Kumar Mishra, confirmed the case and stated, "We received info that a student jumped off a roof in the IIT Campus... The team immediately reached the spot... The student is a native of Telangana... The investigation is underway... Prima facie, it seems to be suicide, further things are being investigated..."
