Situation under control in Manipur: Indian Army
The situation has been brought under control in Manipur through coordinated actions by all stakeholders. IAF undertook continuous sorties from two airfields in Assam employing C17 Globemaster an AN 32 aircrafts. Induction commenced on the night of May 4 and additional columns commenced domination with effect from wee hours of May 5, informed Indian Army.

Manipur violence: Indian Army issues alert amid circulation of fake videos online
Amid the ongoing Manipur violence, the Indian Army urged the citizens to rely only on content available on official and verified sources. The security forces further asked people to not believe the fake videos doing rounds on the internet.
