Nuh: While preparing for the Brajmandal Yatra scheduled for July 14, the district administration in Nuh, Haryana, has imposed a 24-hour suspension of internet and bulk SMS services. The restrictions will be in effect from 9 PM on July 13 to 9 PM on July 14, in an effort to maintain public order and curb the spread of misinformation.
However, essential SMS services linked to banking transactions and mobile recharges will continue to function during the suspension.
According to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, the move is a preventive measure aimed at avoiding any disruption during the religious procession.
Tight Security After Last Year’s Violence
The decision comes after last year’s Brajmandal Yatra was marred by violent clashes in Nuh, resulting in several fatalities. In response, authorities are deploying heightened security protocols this year to ensure peaceful proceedings.

Chief Minister Nayab Saini has also directed the closure of meat shops and processing units situated along the Yatra route on July 14. As part of the enhanced security measures, 2,500 police personnel have been stationed in key areas throughout the district.
Traffic Rerouted, Heavy Vehicles Diverted
To minimize public inconvenience and maintain order, the police have issued a traffic advisory, implementing multiple diversions for heavy vehicles:

Authorities have appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement and follow traffic instructions to ensure a smooth and incident-free religious procession.
