1. Kumar Prashant: Accused of rigging government wheat purchases, IAS Kumar Prashan of the 2010 batch, was suspended in 2018, while he was the District Magistrate (DM) of Fatehpur.
2. Amarnath Upadhyay: An IAS officer of the 2011 batch, IAS Amarnath Upadhyay was suspended when he was the DM of Maharajganj; he was accused of meddling with the budget of the cow protection centres.
3. Devendra Kumar Pandey: Another IAS officer of the 2011, Devendra Kumar Pandey, was accused of being involved in financial irregularities in the purchases made for the Basic Education Department. His suspension came at the time when he was the DM of Unnao.
4. Devisharan Upadhyay: An IAS officer of the 2012 batch, he was suspended during his posting as a member of the Judicial Revenue Council, in 2024, for arbitrarily restoring the lease of 35 plots in Aligarh.
5. Ghanshyam Singh: The IAS officer from 2014 batch, who was the Appointment Department Additional Commissioner, was suspended last year after being found guilty of committing graft.
6. TK Shibu: An IAS officer of the 2012 batch from Kerala, IAS TK Shibu was the Sonbhadra DM when he was suspended in 2022, for ‘corruption and negligence’. 
7. Sunil Kumar Verma: The DM of Auraiya, IAS Sunil Kumar Verma of 2013 batch, was suspended by the UP government in 2022, on the charges of ‘corruption and laxity'; a vigilance inquiry was also ordered against him. 
8. Jitendra Bahadur Singh: Suspended in June 2018, IAS Jitendra Bahadur Singh was the DM of Gonda at that time and was accused for scam over government grain.
9. Sharda Singh: IAS Sharda Singh, appointed as the Commissioner of UP's Chakbandi, was also suspended for irregularities in recruitment reservation.
10. Abhishek Prakash: The latest IAS officer to have been suspended on corruption charges is IAS Abhishek Prakash of 2006 batch. The Invest UP CEO has been accused of taking a bribe through a middleman.  

IAS Abhishek Prakash Suspended For Taking Bribe Through Middleman

An IAS officer of the 2006 batch and the CEO of Invest UP, has been suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government, over corruption charges. The senior IAS officer has been accused of taking a five percent commission from a solar energy company who had registered with Invest UP, via a middleman, Nikant Jain. The middleman has been arrested and an inquiry has been launched against IAS Abhishek Prakash. 

Born in 1982 in Bihar, IAS Abhishek Prakash completed his engineering from IIT Rourkee, in 2004, following which, he did his Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy. The IAS officer was working as the CEO of Invest UP and the Secretary of Infrastructure & Industrial Development (IDC) Department of the UP government, at the time of suspension. Previously, IAS Abhishek Prakash has been the District Magistrate (DM) of Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri, Aligarh and Hamirpur.
