Jammu: A shocking video of a man brutally beating his wife surfaced on social media, sparking outrage across the region. The incident, which occurred in the Amb Gharota area of Jammu, showed the accused, identified as Sadaq Hussain, mercilessly striking his wife with a lathi.

The disturbing footage led to an immediate investigation by local authorities. Police Station Amb Gharota registered FIR under various sections, including 109/126(2)/115/191(2)(3)/190/351(2)/352/118 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The accused has been arrested and is currently in police remand. Hussain, a resident of Pamali Jandyal, was taken into custody shortly after the video went viral.
