New Delhi: A rare moment was captured in the Parliament premises as BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee were seen sharing a candid conversation during the ongoing Budget session on Wednesday.
In one of the pictures, Kangana Ranaut is seen engaged in a conversation with TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee, gesturing while speaking.
Banerjee, seemingly amused, responds, while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in a contrasting frame, is seen sharing a smile with the TMC leader, with Kangana standing beside them, grinning.
Kangana Ranaut, who has been actively sharing glimpses of her parliamentary journey on social media, posted the picture on her Instagram story with the caption, "World is a stage, and we are all playing our roles. A light-hearted moment today with fellow parliamentarians. #ParliamentDay."
Kangana Ranaut, who made her political debut in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, won from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, defeating Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh. While actively participating in parliamentary proceedings, she continues to stay connected with her film career.
Her latest project, Emergency, a political drama based on Indira Gandhi's controversial rule from 1975-77, was released earlier this year but failed at the box office. Incidentally, she revealed in an interview that she had asked Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, to watch the film.
“I met Priyanka Gandhi in Parliament, and she complimented me on my work and my hair. I told her about Emergency and suggested she watch it. She smiled and said, 'Maybe I will.'”
