Kejriwal Attacked In New Delhi, Alleges AAP; BJP Hits Back
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed that Kejriwal was attacked during his campaign in the New Delhi constituency.

Delhi Elections 2025: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal 's car was pelted with stones during campaigning in the New Delhi constituency on Saturday, the AAP alleged. "Supporters of BJP 's New Delhi candidate Parvesh Verma attacked Kejriwal during campaigning in the constituency," an AAP leader claimed.
In a purported video of the incident, Kejriwal can be seen sitting in a vehicle with police personnel clearing the route for it. A man waving a black piece of cloth and a stone hurled towards the vehicle were also seen in the video clip.
Soon after AAP’s claims, BJP MP Parvesh Verma shared a video alleging that the former Delhi CM's convoy ran over 2 people during the campaign in the New Delhi constituency.
"The car of Arvind Kejriwal has gone ahead by crushing the workers of the BJP. The leg of the worker (BJP) has broken and I am going to the Lady Hardinge Medical College to inquire about his health...This is very shameful...", said Verma.
Later, Verma also met those who were injured after being allegedly hit by the car of Kejriwal at the Lady Hardinge Medical College.
"He (Arvind Kejriwal) signalled the driver to hit us. I have been injured. Three people have been injured...I am a voter of this (New Delhi) constituency", says Rohit one of the injured after allegedly being hit by the car of Arvind Kejriwal.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police said that no one pelted stones at Kejriwal's car but some people were trying to show black flags to the former chief minister, who were immediately removed from the spot.
