Kerala Youth Hacks 5 Relatives to Death Across 3 Locations in Serial Murder

Thiruvananthapuram: In a horrific multiple murder case, a 23-year-old man brutally attacked six people across three locations in Venjaramoodu, around 30 km from Thiruvananthapuram. Five people have died, while one remains in critical condition, according to police reports.

The accused, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, surrendered to the police after the brutal attacks and admitted to hacking six people. 

The victims have been identified as - Afsan (younger brother), Harshina (friend of the family), Latheef & Shaheeda (a couple and relative), and grandmother. Meanwhile, his mother, who also sustained serious injuries in the attack, is battling for her life in the hospital.

Motive and Investigation

Preliminary investigations suggest that a financial crisis may have been the motive behind the gruesome murders. The accused reportedly traveled to three separate locations to carry out the killings.

The police are currently collecting more details and have confirmed that five people have lost their lives in the shocking crime spree. Authorities are also verifying the accused’s claims of attacking six individuals.
