Kolkata Rains: IndiGo Issues Travel Advisory for All Passengers as IMD Predicts Heavy Showers

Kolkata: The West Bengal capital has been witnessing heavy rains for the past two days and heavy showers have been predicted for today as well. Amid heavy rains in Kolkata, IndiGo has issued a travel advisory for all its passengers travelling to and from Kolkata.

Amid heavy rainfall prediction in Kolkata, IndiGo Airline has issued a travel advisory for all its passengers, warning them of potential delays and asking them of having sufficient time at hand, to avoid traffic on the Kolkata roads because of waterlogging following the showers.

The advisory reads, “Thundershowers are on the cards for Kolkata throughout the day and flight schedules may be impacted. Please keep a close tab on your flight status https://bit.ly/3DNYJqj, plan ahead and allow extra time for your travel. Wishing you a safe & pleasant journey.”
