Jalgaon Train Accident: A major train accident was narrowly avoided early on Friday morning when the Mumbai-Amravati Express (12111DN) collided with a truck that got stuck on a railway track near Jalgaon's Bodwad Station in Maharashtra . The incident took place at around 4:30 AM.

The truck which was loaded with wheat had broken through a railway gate which has been closed for some time. Although a new alternate bridge was built nearby, the truck driver was unaware of that. Despite the efforts of the driver to stop the train by applying emergency brakes, it dragged the truck for over 500 meters. No injuries have been reported from the accident.
