Man Forces Woman to Consume Liquor, Rapes Her on MP Road; Act Caught on Camera

Ujjain: A case of rape has been reported in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh where a man raped a woman on the road. The horror doesn't end here because the heinous crime was recorded on camera and the video was circulated online. However, it was this video that led to the arrest of the accused.

Man Inebriates Woman, Rapes her on Road in Ujjain

In another case of rape amid the ongoing protests seeking justice in the Kolkata Rape and Murder case, a man in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh raped a woman on the road after intoxicating her. The accuse, who had promised to marry the woman, first offered her alcohol and after inebriating her, raped her.

Video of Crime All Over Internet, Led to Arrest of Accused

The horrific crime was reported on camera and the video was circulated on the internet. The accused had also threatened the victim against speaking anything about the rape and had then fled.

It is this video, that led to the arrest of the accused. The police officials were able to trace the accused with the help of the video and thus arrest him.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

Death Penalty to Man who Raped and Murdered 5-Year-Old Girl

In another news, a court in Madhya Pradesh 's Narmadapuram district on Wednesday sentenced a 22-year-old man to death for rape and murder of a five-year-old girl.

Sohagpur Second Additional Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Choubey convicted Kishan aka Chhinu Machhiya under relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, district prosecution officer Rajkumar Nema stated in a press release.

Citing verses from the Ramcharit Manas, the judge observed that "rape of every innocent girl is a rarest of rare incident and a case of rape and murder cannot be considered normal in any way." The girl went missing from home on December 25, 2021. The body was found later on the roof, and probe revealed that she had been subjected to unnatural sex before being strangulated.

Her elder brother informed police that Machhiya had come to the roof when they were playing. Machhiya forced the boy to leave, he told police.

DNA profile of the accused also matched with samples collected from the spot.
