Rewa: A video from Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district has gone viral on social media in which a man can be seen thrashing a woman, pulling her hair and abusing her in the middle of the road while onlookers continue to watch. A police case has been registered and the cops have launched an investigation.

The incident is of the Atal Kunj Chowpatty Dhekha of Civil Line police station area of ​​​​Rewa city in Madhya Pradesh. A video has surfaced on the internet where a young man, begins to beat a woman in the middle of the road and tortures her in front of the many people watching the shocking incident unfold before their eyes. The man, also breaks her mobile phone by throwing it on the ground.

The disturbing video shows how a man gets off his bike with a lot of attitude and while talking with the girl, he suddenly begins to hit her. After a string of slaps in the public, the man then pulls her hair and continuously abuses her. In the incident captured in the CCTV camera, a lot of people can be seen watching the spectacle but no one intervened to stop the man from hitting the woman or make an attempt to save the girl. 

No Formal Complaint Filed by Girl, Police Case Registered; Probe Underway

Based on their conversation, it appears the incident may be linked to a romantic relationship. The video has quickly gone viral on social media, prompting the Civil Line Police to take action. They have begun efforts to identify both the boy and the girl involved. 

Police station in-charge Kamlesh Sahu stated that no official complaint regarding the viral video has been filed at the station yet. However, the police are actively investigating and working on identifying the individuals involved. The cause of the incident will become clearer once their identities are confirmed.
