After hiding the body parts in different places, the merchant navy officer's wife and her lover took a taxi and went to the hills, and visited different places including Shimla and Kasol. While the accused have been making up stories that they killed Saurabh Rajput because of witchcraft (tantra-mantra), the cops have dismissed these reports and have said that this was a well-thought of, pre-planned crime.
The initial findings of the postmortem report reveal that the deceased Merchant Navy officer's wife and her lover had not just murdered and dismembered his body, but had also crushed some of the pieces in a mixer; some cuttings have also been found in the postmortem. Further reports are awaited.
A video featuring Muskan Rastogi, the woman accused of brutally killing her husband, Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput, has emerged online. The footage, reportedly taken during their daughter’s birthday celebration, shows Muskan dancing happily with Saurabh, the same man she would later murder. In the viral clip, Muskan is seen dancing to the song "Bankar Kabootari" at a restaurant, with the couple appearing to share a joyful moment together. This stark contrast between the affectionate scene and the subsequent crime has made the murder even more unsettling.
As the investigation into the Meerut murder case continues, a disturbing video has emerged showing Muskan, the accused, and her boyfriend, Sahil, celebrating Holi just days after the murder of Muskan's husband, Saurabh Rajput. The video, which is believed to have been filmed at a club in Shimla 11 days following the murder of the former Merchant Navy officer, shows the pair dancing and having fun. The footage raises significant concerns about Muskan's sense of remorse regarding the crime.
