Miraculous Escape for 5 of Family as Moving Car Goes Up in Flames in UP's Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur: Chaos gripped Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh after a moving vehicle, carrying 5 people, went up in flames following an explosion. However, all the passengers escape the fire and no casualties were reported. A short circuit is believed to have caused a fire in the XUV which was returning from a wedding event in Tilhar. The fire incident was reported in near Rajghat Chowki of Chowk Kotwali.

Dramatic visuals have surfaced where the the car can be seen being engulfed by high flames. The incident spread panic in the area with locals coming to rescue the people inside the vehicle.

According to sources, a crowd gathered neat the spot after hearing the sound of loud explosions in the car intermittently. Thereafter, locals started breaking the closed windows of the car. After receiving the information about the fire, the fire department team reached the spot and brought the flames under control.

Sources revealed that a family from Tilhar police station area was onboard the car. The car passengers also included women. The family attended the wedding on Thursday and were returning on Friday. As soon as they reached near Rajghat Chowki, a short circuit was reported inside the car which caused he fire. As soon as the fire broke out, five people including women present in the car jumped out and saved their lives.
