New Delhi: A bomb threat was reported for Air India flight AI 2439, scheduled to depart from Delhi to Mumbai at 11 pm on Thursday. According to reports, the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) received the threat call, prompting immediate action from security agencies.

According to an official, upon receiving the bomb threat, security protocols were activated, and the flight was likely moved to an isolated bay for further inspection. Sources claimed that the bomb threat may have been received through a tweet or other social media platforms, similar to recent incidents involving Indian airlines.

Incident Of Bomb Threats

In recent months, multiple Indian airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, Vistara, and Akasa Air, have received bomb threats, affecting around 100 flights. These threats have led to emergency responses and security checks, while causing disruptions to flight operations at the airport.

An Air India flight from Mumbai to New York was diverted to Delhi after a bomb threat was reported, and an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Jeddah also received a similar threat.
