Ghaziabad: Another disgusting video has surfaced on social media, showing a man in Ghaziabad allegedly spitting on naan while baking it. The incident, which reportedly surfaced from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, sparked widespread outrage, with many calling for stricter action against the man. In the purported video, the man is claimed to have allegedly spitted on bread before placing it in the tandoor, at a wedding ceremony.
As the video surfaced on social media, the people have reacted sharply over the man's disgusting act. They also tagged the Ghaziabad police in the video calling out for stringent action against him.
As per reports, the incident is claimed to be of a wedding ceremony under the jurisdiction of the Bhojpur police station. A complaint has been filed before the police and an investigation has been initiated into the matter.
Meanwhile, the people of Ghaziabad demand stricter action over the incident that showed the man's engagement in unhygienic practices. However, this is not the first time Ghaziabad has been embroiled in a food-related controversy, and the city's residents are demanding answers.
Pattern Of Unhygienic Behaviour
Notably, this incident is not an isolated incident of spitting on food items. Ghaziabad has a history of food-related scandals, with several incidents of food tampering and unhygienic practices coming to light in recent years. In 2022, a video showed a street food vendor in Ghaziabad using contaminated water to prepare food. Similarly, in 2020, a restaurant in the city was shut down after a video showed its staff washing utensils in dirty water. The Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration (UPFSDA) had launched an investigation into the incident.

Last year, two men were arrested in Ghaziabad for mixing urine in juice and serving it to consumers. The incident had sparked a massive row, prompting the locals to protest on the streets and demanding stricter action. A video had also surfaced, showing locals thrashing two shop workers in Ghaziabad. The shopkeepers were accused of serving fruit juices mixed with urine. Later, the incident was reported to the local police and the two accused were arrested.
