New Delhi: As self-styled pastor Bajinder Singh faces conviction in a 2018 sexual harassment case, old videos of him sharing the stage with Bollywood celebrities like Arbaaz Khan, Suniel Shetty, Rajpal Yadav and others have resurfaced.

The clips, widely circulated on social media, show the fraud preacher being openly endorsed by film stars, raising questions about their association with him. Now that the court has found him guilty, will these celebrities distance themselves and speak out, or will Bollywood continue its pattern of silence when faced with uncomfortable truths?

Fraud Pastor Bajinder Singh Convicted in 2018 Sexual Harassment Case

Earlier in the day, a local court in Mohali, Punjab , had convicted the self-styled Christian preacher Bajinder Singh in a 2018 sexual harassment case. The court is set to announce his sentence on April 1.

Singh was booked under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) related to sexual harassment following a complaint lodged at Zirakpur police station in 2018. The complainant accused him of luring her with false promises of taking her abroad, raping her, and recording the assault on video.

Bajinder Singh And Controversies

Bajinder Singh has been embroiled in multiple controversies, ranging from serious criminal charges to dubious claims of faith healing. Convicted in a 2018 sexual harassment case, he also faces fresh allegations from a 22-year-old woman who filed a complaint against him in February 2025. His past includes a murder case in the 2000s, during which he claims to have found Christianity while in jail. Despite his legal troubles, Singh has amassed a following through his two churches, The Church of Glory and Wisdom, in Jalandhar and Mohali. His exaggerated claims of divine healing and miraculous recoveries have also sparked skepticism, with critics accusing him of exploiting people's faith for personal gain.
