Parambir Singh Evades Republic Questions After Allegations of Cover Up in Disha Salian's Case

Mumbai: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh evaded questions when Republic Media Network confronted him on the Disha Salian’s case after victim’s father alleged that the former top cop was involved in his daughter’s death case cover up.

When Republic Media Network posed direct questions to Parambir Singh about the accusations made by Disha Salian's father, the former police commissioner avoided providing any answers.

Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 8, 2020 when CM Uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government was in power in Maharashtra . At that time, her death was reported as a suicide, even when several questions were raised suspecting of a foul play.

Disha's father Satish Salian breaks silence on his daughter's death 

Last week, Disha's father, Satish Salian, broke his silence five years after her death, asserting that she didn't commit suicide but it was a murder.

In an exclusive conversation with Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami , Disha's father Satish Salian made sensational claims on her death saying that she didn't commit suicide.

Satish Salian told Arnab that when Disha died back in 2020, he was manipulated by officials around in such a way that he believed whatsoever the police was telling him. However, he later realised that they were lying.

Pointing out technicalities in her case, Disha's father said that her body didn't have any injury marks which one should have had after falling from a high rise building, raising suspicion that there was an attempt of a cover-up.

Satish Salian's father has filed a petition in Bombay High Court, seeking a fresh investigation in his daughter's death case and also into the alleged role of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's son Aaditya Thackeray.

Parambir Singh key mastermind in Disha Salian's death cover up, claims Satish Salian's lawyer  

Nilesh Ojha, lawyer of Satish Salian, had told Republic that Disha's father was in psychological virtual custody when his daughter died but when he came out of that state, his client realised that the police was lying to him.

In the past few days, Nilesh Ojha has made several startling revelations and accusations on Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray, Parambir Singh and also took names of other celebrities who he alleged were involved in Disha’s death case.

Nilesh Ojha has claimed that Parambir Singh was the key mastermind behind Disha’s case cover up because in 2020, he addressed a press conference in which he (Parambir) claimed that they have checked the CCTV and based on that no politician had visited the place. However, later, mobile tower locations and eyewitness testimonies prove that he was lying.
