PM Modi's Much-awaited 3-Hour Podcast With American Influencer Lex Fridman Tomorrow

New Delhi: US podcaster and scientist Lex Fridman’s much-awaited podcast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to be released on Sunday, March 16. Fridman described the conversation as "one of the most powerful" of his life, revealing on X (formerly Twitter) that the discussion lasted an epic three hours. 

Responding to Fridman’s post, PM said that it was a fascinating conversation covering diverse topics including childhood and journey in public life. “It was indeed a fascinating conversation with @lexfridman, covering diverse topics including reminiscing about my childhood, the years in the Himalayas and the journey in public life. Do tune in and be a part of this dialogue!" he said on X.

Who is Lex Fridman?  

  • Renowned Scientist & Podcaster: Lex Fridman is a well-known American scientist specializing in computer technology. In 2018, he launched The Lex Fridman Podcast.
  • Early Life & Education: Born on August 15, 1983, in Chkalovsk (formerly part of the Soviet Union), Fridman grew up in Moscow. After the fall of the Soviet Union, he moved to the United States. He attended Drexel University, where his father was a professor, and earned a doctorate in computer and electrical engineering (Hindustan Times reported).
  • Podcast & Global Influence: His podcast is known for engaging discussions with leading figures in politics, sports, technology, and science. As an MIT research scientist and podcaster, his social media bio on X states that he is "interested in robots and humans."
  • Notable Guests: Over the years, Fridman has interviewed influential personalities, including:

Fridman had first announced in January that the Indian Prime Minister would feature on his show by the end of February. To record the episode, he travelled to India for the first time, making the interview a significant milestone in his career.
