Today, about 1.5 million such women are being given assistance of Rs. 15,000 during pregnancy so that they do not have to worry about expenses..."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that three sectors—textiles, tourism, and technology—are "crucial" for India's development.

Addressing the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, the Prime Minister stated that these sectors will create "crores" of new jobs.

"Three sectors will play a crucial role in India's development—textiles, tourism, and technology. These sectors will create crores of new jobs. If we look at textiles, India is the second-largest producer of cotton. India has a rich tradition in textiles, along with skill and entrepreneurship," PM Modi said. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi innagurated the Madhya Pradesh Global Investor Summit on Monday and lauding the State government noted the state's potential to become top five states of the country in terms of GDP. He further said that Madhya Pradesh will play a crucial role in India's development journey

Prime Minister Modi emphasised the world's optimistic views toward India in terms of its "fastest" growing economy and said that such views have boosted the confidence of other states.

Ahead of the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025 on Monday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized its significance for the youth. He said, "Today is a very special day for Bhopal. Soon, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit. It is a special day for all of us, particularly for the people of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh. We are organizing a major investment summit with industrialists from across the globe, and new records of development will be set. This will be especially important for the youth."

Ahead of the release of the 19th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed pride in the country's Annadatas. On social media platform X, the PM re-shared a thread from the Government of India, showcasing India’s status as home to the largest agricultural scheme and bumper crops.

"We are proud of our Annadatas, and our commitment to improving their lives is evident in the efforts highlighted in the thread below," the post stated.
