Rahul Gandhi ‘Mouthpiece’ Of Anti-India Groups: Rijiju | EXCLUSIVE
Kiren Rijiju accused Rahul Gandhi of repeatedly using foreign platforms to disparage India and labeled him as a "mouthpiece" for anti-India groups.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent comments made abroad. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister while speaking to Republic Media Network on completing the first 100 days of the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) third consecutive term accused Rahul Gandhi of repeatedly using foreign platforms to disparage India and labeled him as a "mouthpiece" for anti-India groups.
“ Rahul Gandhi has consistently used international forums to attack India. It’s unprecedented for a political leader to go abroad and criticize their own country in such a manner,” Rijiju said. “He’s been elevated by these groups to speak against India, which is deeply concerning.”
Rijiju on Modi Govt’s Past 100 Days
Rijiju also defended the National Democratic Alliance ( NDA ) government’s achievements during its third consecutive term.
He highlighted that over the past 100 days, the Modi administration has achieved significant milestones. "In the last 100 days, we've accomplished more than many previous governments have in their entire terms," Rijiju asserted.
He pointed to substantial decisions such as allocating ₹15 lakh crore in various sectors, disbursing ₹20,000 crore to farmers, and initiating infrastructure projects like building 3 crore additional houses for the poor.
On the role of the opposition, Rijiju criticized Congress for being “irresponsible” and obstructive. He recounted how Congress boycotted key parliamentary procedures, including the election of the Pro Tem Speaker, and accused them of preventing Prime Minister Modi from speaking in Parliament.
Kiren Rijiju on Waqf Bill
Regarding the Waqf Board's property holdings, Rijiju refuted claims that the board owns the third-largest property in India.
He emphasized that defense and railways are national assets used for public welfare, contrasting them with Waqf properties, which are managed by the board and donated by individuals. Rijiju called for better management and transparency in the functioning of the Waqf Board.
