Jaipur: The Rajasthan Cabinet, on Saturday, approved the Rajasthan Coaching Centers (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025, aimed at regulating the state's coaching institutes and providing students with a secure and supportive learning environment. The Bill, drafted in line with central government guidelines and state-specific requirements, mandates registration for all coaching institutes, with those having 50 or more students facing increased scrutiny. The Rajasthan Cabinet nodded the bill in a meeting on Saturday chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

Following the Cabinet's approval, Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa asserted the importance of registration, stating that it will be mandatory for all coaching institutes once the law is implemented. To ensure transparency, a state-level portal and 24x7 helpline will be established, along with the Rajasthan Coaching Institutes (Control and Regulation) Authority. The Rajasthan government's move is expected to bring much-needed regulation to the coaching industry, which has grown exponentially in recent years.
