Ahead of the Republic Day parade 2025, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has issued a traffic advisory for the commuters plying on the roads.

Noida: Ahead of the Republic Day parade 2025, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has issued a traffic advisory for the commuters plying on the roads. In the advisory, issued by the Noida police, a detailed notification has been given regarding restrictions and diversions for vehicles entering Delhi during the Full Dress Rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade on January 23, and the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
In preparation for the Republic Day celebrations, authorities have announced temporary restrictions on the entry of goods vehicles from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi. The restrictions will be in effect from 10 pm on January 22, until the conclusion of the rehearsal on January 23, and again from 10 pm on January 25, until the end of the Republic Day program on January 26.
According to the police, the move is aimed at ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow during the rehearsals and celebrations. During these times, goods vehicles, whether heavy, medium, or light, will not be allowed entry into Delhi from the borders of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Alternative Routes for Vehicles:
- From Chilla Red Light (Border): Vehicles should take a U-turn at Chilla Red Light and follow the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach their destinations.
- From DND (Border): Vehicles coming from the DND Toll Plaza should take a U-turn at the toll and proceed via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- From Kalindi Kunj Yamuna (Border): Vehicles will be diverted at the T-junction before the Yamuna River and will need to proceed via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- From Yamuna Expressway via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway: Vehicles will be diverted at Faleda Cut, Rabupura, and proceed via the service road through Galgotia, Gautam Buddha University, and Honda CL Chowk in Kasna, reaching the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- From Zero Point on Yamuna Expressway via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway: Vehicles will be diverted from Zero Point to Pari Chowk and will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Additional Information:
- Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through without disruption during the diversions.
- Further diversions may be introduced as needed to manage traffic better.
- Drivers are strongly advised to use these alternative routes to avoid inconvenience and delays.
- The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has urged all drivers to cooperate with these traffic changes to ensure a smooth and secure traffic experience during the Republic Day rehearsals and celebrations.
