Security Advisory Issued for Protected Persons in Jammu Amid Threat of Lone Wolf Attack, Retaliation from Pakistan
A security advisory for protected persons has been issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Police amid the threat of a lone wolf attack and potential threats.

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued an advisory to protected person across Jammu region amid prevailing security scenario and in light of recent attacks in Pakistan, Police authorities have issued an advisory to all Protected Persons (PPs) regarding potential threats, including lone wolf attacks and tethered killings.

Officials have informed Republic that Protected Persons (PPs) have been asked share their tour plans in advance with the security room and concerned agencies. Last-minute additions pose significant security risks, as adequate arrangements may not be possible at short notice.
Advisory further added that travel through militancy-affected areas should only be undertaken on days with Road Opening Party (ROP) security cover and must strictly follow prescribed routes and Protected Persons (PPs) have been asked not to go out after sunset.

The advisory has also directed for tactical use of the Police protection given to the Protected Persons (PPs) and to pre-plan their response strategies in case of an attack, including identifying safe exit routes. PPs have also been asked to keep their travel plans confidential and shared only to limit people.
