New Delhi: An FIR has been filed by a 22-year-old woman against self-proclaimed Christian prophet Baljinder Singh for alleged sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation in Kapurthala, Punjab , on Sunday. The allegations have been denied by the pastor, who claims that another pastor orchestrated a "scandal" against him.
The woman has accused Baljinder Singh of inappropriately touching her and making unwanted advances while she worked for him at the age of 17.
She claims she was pressured to marry him, despite already being married. She also stated that he stalked her and threatened to harm her family if she spoke about the incidents.
However, the pastor has denied the allegations, claiming that another pastor plotted a "scandal" against him.

According to the complaint, the pastor would forcibly "hug me and touch me in a dirty way."
She further claimed that Baljinder Singh made her sit alone in his cabin at the church every Sunday in 2022.
The complaint was filed under Sections 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on February 20. In her complaint, she stated that she suffered panic attacks and harassment over the years, which even affected her marriage and pregnancy.
The pastor has also been accused of having the president of his church speak to her mother to prevent her from filing a police complaint.
Baljinder Singh Denies Allegations
Baljinder Singh held a press conference on Sunday to deny the allegations made by the woman. He claimed that another pastor is plotting a scandal against him.
"He has been making false comments against me for the past five years. He created a channel, which has not even been registered, and made false statements about me there," Baljinder Singh said.
He further alleged that he registered a complaint against the pastor on February 16, and in retaliation, the pastor filed a complaint against him on February 20.
"I registered a complaint on February 16, and on February 20, the pastor lodged a complaint in the police station against me," Baljinder Singh said.
Baljinder Singh has gained popularity for his Christian satsangs in Punjab. He claims to help people break free from addiction and teaches them to follow the right path.
