3 Killed After Speeding SUV Hits Truck in Maharashtra's Latur

Latur: At least three people were killed after a speeding SUV hit a stationary truck on Kingaon-Ambejogai road in Maharashtra 's Latur, late on Sunday night.

The intensity of the crash was such that three people died on the spot while others including the driver sustained injuries. According to sources, a speeding Tata Sumo hit a truck which was parked on the roadside from rear. The deceased include two women and a minor girl.

The truck from Telangana was plying to Ahmedpur on the highway at Dagwadi on Kingaon-Ambejogai road in Ahmedpur taluka. The truck was parkd at a hotel in Dagwadi when the tragedy unfolded.

While the SUV was moving towards Mohgaon from Kingaon whn the accident took place.

All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Ambejogai for treatment. An investogation into the matter is underway. So far no arrests have ben made. More details are awaited.
