Greater Noida: A quiet residential neighbourhood in Greater Noida was struck by immense tragedy after five members of a single family were found dead inside their home under mysterious circumstances, just hours after reportedly eating noodles together. The sudden demise of the family members has sent shockwaves across the region, triggering an urgent police investigation.
Key Details of the Accident
According to preliminary reports and eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred during peak commuting hours when the local road was crowded with pedestrians, e-rickshaws, and daily wage workers.
The DTC bus was reportedly travelling at high speed when the driver lost control. Before the driver could bring the bus to a halt, it ploughed into bystanders on the roadside, dragging at least one victim several meters.
One victim succumbed to severe injuries on the spot, while at least four others sustained serious injuries and fractures. “The bus suddenly veered off course without any warning. People started screaming and running, but those standing near the pavement were caught before anyone could react,” said a local vendor who witnessed the crash.

Residents gathered at the scene, demanding stricter enforcement of speed limits in congested market corridors and thorough safety audits for the public transit fleet to prevent such tragic incidents from recurring.
