Train Services Hit Between Thane and Panvel Due to OHE Issues at Nehrul

Mumbai: Train services between Maharashtra Vashi, Panvel and Thane from Nerul were affected due to issues of overhead equipment (OHE) reported in a coach on a local train during the early hours of Tuesday, September 10.

According to the information from the Central Railways and Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Central, the issue affected the train movement in the area since 04:55 am.

"Due to an Overhead Equipment (OHE) issue at Nerul, all up-and-down train movements between Vashi and Panvel have been significantly affected since 04:55 hours."

However, the services were restored after two hours.

"Restoration work is currently in progress. Restoration work has been completed and train services resumed at 06:56 hrs," stated DRM Mumbai Central in a post in X.
