Ugadi/Yugadi significance

The term "Yug" in Yugadi means an era, and "Adi" signifies something new. Ugadi was recognized by the Indian mathematician Bhaskara I in the 12th century as the beginning of the New Year, as it marks the arrival of spring.

This day symbolizes a fresh start and holds astrological significance, serving as an important time for predicting the events of the upcoming year.
