A US-based firm has announced plans to launch a revolutionary hypersonic aircraft for cargo delivery, capable of reaching “anywhere within 1.5 hours.”
Hyperian Aerospace has unveiled HYPERLiner Cargo, the world’s first Mach 10 hypersonic cargo aircraft, which aims to transform global logistics.
“With hydrogen-powered hypersonic flight, we will move cargo at Mach 10 speeds, eliminating the need for slow, congested, and fuel-intensive freight aircraft,” Hyperian stated.
The company claims HYPERLiner Cargo can transport 10 tons of cargo in just 1.5 hours. It also estimates travel times of:
• New York to London – 27 minutes
• New York to Dubai – 54 minutes
• New York to Shanghai – 57 minutes
• New York to Sydney – 90 minutes
One of the aircraft’s standout features is its use of hydrogen power as fuel, which the firm says will cut carbon dioxide emissions and make air logistics more sustainable and cost-effective.
“Instead of waiting 12+ hours for long-haul cargo flights, HYPERLiner Cargo will deliver critical freight in real-time, reshaping global supply chains,” the company emphasized.
Hyperian compared the zero-emission hypersonic aircraft to traditional cargo jets like the Boeing 747, claiming it would set a new standard for air logistics.
“HYPERLiner Cargo isn’t just an upgrade—it’s a revolution in how the world moves freight. As the demand for faster, more efficient, and greener logistics increases, hypersonic air cargo will become the new standard,” Hyperian stated.
Unlike traditional large cargo aircraft, the HYPERLiner is designed for minimal emissions.
The company has not yet announced a launch date or disclosed how much of the project has been completed. However, it states the aircraft will serve a variety of industries, including e-commerce, defense, and pharmaceuticals.
