As Navratri commences, devotees across India flocked to temples to offer prayers and seek blessings. From the revered Vaishno Devi Temple to the historic Durgiana Temple in Amritsar, worshippers are celebrating the nine-day festival with immense devotion and enthusiasm.

Navratri Celebrations Begin
Throughout Navratri , devotees honor the goddess's nine forms with daily rituals, including stage decorations, scripture recitations, and chanting of prayers.
Prominent figures also joined the celebrations, with Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya offering prayers at Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, and BJP MP Anurag Thakur visiting the Mansa Devi Temple in Panchkula.
In various cities, including Delhi, Raipur, and Shimla, devotees gathered at temples such as Shri Kalka Ji, Maa Mahamaya, and Kali Bari to offer their prayers on this auspicious occasion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the nation, saying, "I wish all my countrymen a very Happy Navratri . May this holy festival dedicated to Shakti Vandana bring prosperity and peace to everyone. Jai Mata Di!"
