What Saurabh Rajput Was Doing Before Being Brutally Butchered by Wife, Her Lover | Video Emerges

Meerut: Saurabh Rajput, a merchant navy officer who was brutally murdered by his wife, and her lover was travelling with a friend on a bike hours before the heinous incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.

According to the CCTV footage which has emerged, Saurabh and his friend are seen riding a bike into a street at 11:49 PM on March 3, just hours before his murder.

Saurabh Rajput had both his hands cut off from the wrist and his legs were bent backwards, according to an autopsy report.

The report mentioned that Saurabh Rajput's head had been severed from his body suggesting an effort to conceal the body in a drum.

Shock and severe blood loss has been determined as the cause of death, autopsy report said.

Wife Misled Police After Murdering Husband

Muskan Rastogi, the wife of the Merchant Navy officer successfully concealed the crime, misled the police, and deceived family, friends, and acquaintances.

After committing the murder and disposing of her husband's remains, she locked the house and went on a vacation to Shimla-Manali with her boyfriend. She told her neighbors and family that she was traveling to Himachal Pradesh with her husband, Saurabh.

The incident was reported to the police on March 18, after which Muskan and Sahil were arrested.
