New Delhi: At the Republic Plenary Summit 2025 , Prime Minister Narendra Modi articulated the key factors driving India’s growth highlighting the role of youth as the "X factor" for India’s future. "Youth are the biggest stakeholders in a developed India, and they are the X factor today," PM Modi said. He explained that 'X' stands for experimentation, excellence, and expansion, key pillars that would shape India’s success.

PM Modi Congratulates Republic TV for Summit’s Success

PM Modi praised Republic TV for its innovative approach to the summit. "There is no destination that cannot be reached," he said, applauding the new concept developed for the summit. "I congratulate all of you for the success of this summit," he added.

India Driving Global Growth: PM Modi

Reflecting on India's achievements, PM Modi expressed pride in the country's rising global influence. "Today, the world is saying this is India’s century," he said, emphasizing how India's successes have sparked global hope. Modi remarked that India, once thought to be a sinking ship, is now driving global growth.

India’s Economic Rise: 3rd Largest by 2027

Highlighting India’s economic progress, PM Modi noted, "After 65 years, India was the 11th largest economy, now we’re the 5th, and soon, we’ll be the 3rd largest in the world."

India’s Economy Moves at Lightning Speed

PM Modi reflected on the pace of India's economic growth, noting that 18 years ago, India's GDP reached $1 trillion. "Today, the economic activity that took a whole year now happens in just three months," he said, illustrating the country’s rapid progress.

India’s Solar Power Leadership & ‘Make in India’ Initiative

The Prime Minister also highlighted India’s progress in solar energy, saying, "We’re now in the top 5 for solar energy production, having increased it by 30%." Modi also noted that India has moved from importing toys to boosting its "Make in India" initiative, with defense exports up by 20%.

PM Modi shared a touching story from his visit to Kuwait. He recalled a worker from Bihar who asked for an international airport near his village. "I was deeply moved. This is the great inspiration of the common man," he said, illustrating how ambition can come from unexpected places.

Untapped Economic Potential in Villages

The Prime Minister addressed India’s untapped economic potential in villages, estimating it at over 100 lakh crore rupees. He introduced the "Swamitva Scheme," a major step in providing land ownership rights to rural households, benefiting over 2 crore people.

Governance Transformation: From Impactless to Impactful

PM Modi emphasized the transformative change in governance, stating, "In the last 10 years, India has shifted from an impactless government to an impactful one." He pointed to the significant improvements in government schemes and housing policies, which are now owner-driven, benefiting the nation’s poor.

Naxalism Diminishing Through Nation-First Approach

The Prime Minister proudly declared that Naxalism is on the decline, crediting the government's nation-first approach. "More than 100 districts were affected by Naxalism, but this number has drastically reduced," he stated. He attributed this change to decisive government actions that have brought schools, hospitals, and infrastructure to these regions.
