Heavy rainfall in Gujarat and Maharashtra has disrupted rail services, leading to the cancellation of multiple trains.
Mumbai: Heavy rainfall in parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat has disrupted services of Indian Railways with Western Railways cancelling many trains.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Gujarat as extremely heavy rainfall battered the state.

As a red alert has been enforced in the state, the Gujarat education department announced a holiday for all the primary schools on Tuesday. However, this announcement is limited to primary schools only.
