Saving space: Most birds take up a very small space. So if you want to keep a pet but are concerned about space issues, a bird should be the pick for you. The size of a bird’s cage depends on how big they are. Most birds kept as pets are usually small, these include cockatiels, parrots, finches, and canaries. This is why they require only a small space unless you plan to own multiple of them.
