After months of speculation, the celebrity couple finally headed towards the final stage of divorce. Today, the Bombay High Court has allowed the plea submitted by the cricketer-choreographer couple to waive off the six-month cooling period post-divorce. The court has directed a family court to decide on their divorce petition tomorrow, March 20. 

The news comes just days after the cricketer was spotted with RJ Mahvash during the India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 final match in Dubai on March 10. Their joint appearance was filled with smoke of romance with many blaming her as a reason. Amid this, many eagle-eyed fans are curious to know more about her.

Who is RJ Mahvash?

Mahvash Amu, popularly known as RJ Mahvash, is an Aligarh-born social media influencer known for her prank videos.

Before starting her career with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, the dynamic RJ Mahvash pursued her Bachelor's degree at Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and later completed her Master's in Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

As per reports, RJ Mahvash, who has a strong social media presence due to her impactful content, declined an offer to appear on the 14th edition of Bigg Boss and turned down other Bollywood contracts to focus on her passion which is creating social media content.

Currently, RJ Mahvash has a million and a half followers on Instagram, meanwhile over eight hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube.

This is not the first time the duo has been spotted together. Hawk-eyed fans raised their eyebrows the first time they were seen together during the 2024 Christmas celebration. The veteran spinner and RJ Mahvash earlier shut down the dating rumours, calling it baseless.
