Lakmé Fashion Week: Ananya Panday Slays in Classic Teenage Silver Bangles Stacks for Anamika Khanna

Ananya Panday, a regular at the Lakme Fashion Week, stunned on the ramp as she turned muse for designer Anamika Khanna for her 14th appearance at the event. The actress stunned in a silver and electric blue Indo-western outfit. The ensemble is a part of Anamika Khanna's ‘blue-collar’ collection, unveiled on day 1 of the Lakme Fashion Week.

Ananya Panday describes her outfit as ‘armor’, says she is feeling strong in it 

After her ramp walk, the Student Of The Year 2 actress spoke about the outfit. Talking to ANI, Ananya Panday said, "I'm wearing this silver metallic outfit. It has electric blue. I feel like I'm wearing armor, and I feel very strong in it." When asked about fashion, Ananya said, "Fashion for me is fun. I mean, for me, fashion never really has any rules. I can only speak about myself, and the more I've grown in the industry, I've started having fun with fashion."

Ananya Panday's outfit consisted of electric blue, high-waisted, flare pants embellished with intricate gold embroidery. A carefully curated metal bodice formed the top part of the outfit. The actress's look was elegantly complemented with classic oxidised stack bracelets. She tied her hair in a bun for a chic look. Ananya Panday completed the look with dewy makeup that was topped with popping blue eyeliner.

Speaking at the sidelines of the event, Ananya Panday also addressed walking the ramp for the first time for designer Anamika Khanna. She said, "So it's my first time, I think, collaborating with Anamika Khanna, and she's one of my favorite designers whom I've looked up to. I've loved her work, and it's such a special time to be collaborating with her because I'm here at Lakme Fashion Week. This is my, I think, 14th Lakme Fashion Week, and it's very special this year. It's the 25th year of Lakme. It's just one year younger than me, and yeah, it's a great time to be collaborating with her because she's channeling Warrior Princess, and it's making me feel very powerful."

The Lakme Fashion Week, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will conclude on Sunday, March 30, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
