One of the biggest myths of makeup is bold eyes and lips don’t go together. But it is not so. Bold eyes look great with a bold lip colour like red. The look can be pulled off easily by matching it up with the right dress and the right hairstyle. Beauty experts advise going for either one of them like pairing up a classic lip with no liner or shadow look. But why to settle for something simple when you can be creative and have fun with your makeup.

Step 1

Start with a lightweight foundation and avoid a full-coverage foundation. A full-coverage foundation makes the look heavy. Also, go for a neutral blush. Don’t make your cheeks go all bright and look like a clown.

Apply a liquid foundation or concealer on your lids as a base for your eyeshadow. Apply a shimmery eyeshadow on the lids and do not blend it out of the crease.

Apply a different colour in contrast to the shimmery eyeshadow on the outer edges and underneath of the eyes. Use a crease brush to be more precise with your application. Also, smudge some eyeshadow along your lower lash-line.
