Method 1 - direct from PlayStore

You need to go to the Play Store and search for the apps like WhatsApp stickers for Diwali, and you will see a list of numerous apps. Select any app and install it on your smartphone. Once it is installed, open it and select the sticker of your choice and tap on the 'Add to WhatsApp'. Now, you can go to WhatsApp and open the 'stickers' option and the stickers that you picked will be visible in the existing options. However, if you delete the third party sticker app, you will no longer be able to access those stickers.

Method 2 - via WhatsApp

Check if your WhatsApp is updated with the latest version and if not, update it. After updating, open the app and click on the emoji icon. In the bottom panel, there would be three options - emoji, GIF and stickers. Select the 'sticker' symbol. On the top right corner of the box, you would see a ‘+’ sign. Click on ‘+’ and it will show a list of stickers which you can download and send to your contacts. It would display a PlayStore symbol with ‘get more stickers’ option too. After clicking on it, you will be redirected to the PlayStore where a list of sticker apps will appear. Download any app of your choice.
