Hollywood movies have traditionally been a major source of inspiration for Halloween parties. It is October 31 today. Halloween is the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallow’s Day which is celebrated across several countries on October 31. It is said that the three-day observance is dedicated to remembering the dead including saints (hallows), martyrs and all the faithful departed. If you are still looking for that perfect Halloween dress for tonight, your wait must probably get over, because here are some Hollywood inspired costumes that can go well for Halloween party.

The Joker

The most recently released American psychological thriller drama Joker is one of the major inspirations to take from for the upcoming Halloween party. Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker is based on DC Comics character, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. This one of the most loved epic psychological thrillers follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City. He is disregarded and mistreated by society, which embarks him into a downward spiral of revolution and bloody crime. This path brings him face-to-face with his alter ego, The Joker.

IT

IT has two chapters, one and two. Both are the American supernatural horror films based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel of the same name. IT (2017) is the first film in the IT film series and being the second adaptation following Tommy Lee Wallace’s 1990 miniseries. The film tells the story of seven children in Derry, Maine, who are threatened by the eponymous being. This happens to openly face their own personal demons in the process. The Pennywise, the Clown’s costume can is sure to take over this Halloween.

The Groot

Guardians Of The Galaxy is a 2014 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 10th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In Guardians Of The Galaxy, Peter Quill forms an uneasy alliance with a group of extraterrestrial criminals who are on the run after stealing a powerful artefact. The Groot is a fictional character, a tree-like creature that went on to star in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
