A crepe is a type of very thin pancake. Crepes are usually of two types: sweet crepes and savoury crepe. Crepes are served with a variety of fillings, from the simplest with only sugar to flambeed crepes Suzette or elaborate savoury crepe. While crepes are often associated with Brittany, a region in the northwest of France, their consumption is widespread in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, and many parts of Europe, North Africa, Lebanon, and Argentina. Here are a few types of crepes you could try for breakfast.

Basic crepe

This is a common and basic crepe. The ingredients are easy to find, one might even have them on the spot. The batter can be made in minutes. All you need to do is mix all-purpose flour, eggs, milk, water, salt, butter and fry it on a pan and serve hot. Your breakfast will be ready in less than 30 minutes.

Jelly crepe

Crepes filled with jam is considered to be a number one childhood breakfast favourite. Crepes would be made the basic wat then you can fill the crepe with different kinds of berry jams and fruit preserves. Cherry, peach, raspberry, blackberry, black currant, and strawberry jam fillings are recommended.

Chocolate crepe

Chocolate crepes are a simple breakfast, brunch or dessert recipe! Fill them any way you want with whipped cream, cream cheese, or fresh fruit, this is an easy crepe recipe. This is the simple and easy breakfast for kids, as they love chocolate and it also consists of some nutrients in it.

Cannoli crepe

Soft homemade crepes filled with sweet ricotta cream and chocolate chips, topped with whipped cream and more chocolate chips. A breakfast version of an Italian favourite. The recipe is less time consuming and easy to make. The cannoli crepe will take approximately 35 minutes to be prepared and served hot.
