Hard-boiled

This is one of the most convenient ways of preparing your egg. One can simply add the eggs to a pot of water and bring them to a boil. It is recommended that you boil the egg for about 15 minutes. Cooking extra may lead the eggs to turn grey in colour. Moreover, flashing the eggs in cold water right after boiling them also prevents the eggs from changing their colour.

Soft-boiled

This involves the same cooking process as hard-boiled eggs. All you do is cut the cooking period to about 6 to 8. This process gets the egg white cooked and leaves the yolk in a runny state.

Scrambled eggs

Scrambled eggs are also a great dish made from eggs. It is prepared by stirring or beating the required number of eggs in a pan as you gently heat it with butter until it thickens and the liquid egg disappears. Again, add salt and other ingredients as you may please.

Sunny side-up

This is another popular and easier way of preparing your eggs. You simply need to fry the egg on one side and do not flip around. However, when you are ready to fry them, it is important to note that you should not let the pan get too warm as this is when the egg starts to turn brown. For a sunny side up, the best way would be to heat some butter until before it reaches a smoke point. Now turn off the flame and slip the eggs into the pan. Add salt and all the other ingredients as required.

Omelettes

Just like your scrambled eggs, omelettes cook very quickly. Omelettes are quite similar to that of scrambled eggs, but the key difference is that omelettes are presented as a single large mass of eggs which is formed into the shape of a rugby ball. But there is no standardised shape, and you can give it any desired shape you wish to. Scrambled eggs, on the other hand, are typically served as a jumble of crumbly eggs.
